In April this year the ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation) Air Transport Symposium took place in Montreal, Canada. Tony Tyler, the Director General and CEO of IATA(International Air Transport Association) , called upon governments to work together with the aviation industry in order to maximise aviation’s ability to create jobs and drive economic and social development sustainably.
